We are proud to have a long history of working with the NHS, on many different projects.

We’ve worked directly with NHS trusts, hospitals and GP surgeries, customising our useful, responsible and eco-friendly promotional giveaways to suit their branding and campaign needs.

In this blog post we share some past campaigns we’ve worked on and some ideas for initiatives.

Why it’s important to choose the right promotional materials

Given the variety of potential reasons for using promotional giveaways, and their usefulness, careful selection is crucial for any public service organisation.

Ideally, they should align with the ethical values of the NHS and be high quality, cost effective, sustainable and even useful.

How can the NHS use promotional merchandise and giveaways?

The NHS can strategically use promotional giveaways to increase public awareness of its services and initiatives.

Prevention and better health & campaigns

At the core of the NHS is the need to promote not only better health but also ways people can build preventative measures into their lives.

One obvious example of this is diet and the long-running “5 A Day” campaign, others include smoking, exercise and alcohol.

NHS services - new launches & raising awareness of existing ones

The NHS is continually looking to improve public awareness of, and access to, its existing services while launching new ones too.

Sometimes these campaigns are in response to a specific need such as the Covid-19 outbreak or more planned, strategic ones like the increasing importance of the NHS app and the continuing shift to community-based health services.

Community engagement campaigns

While the NHS frequently collaborates with local authorities and organisations, it also works directly with local communities involving them in the decision making behind the development of services.

Promotional giveaways can be great, cost effective tools to use to get a message across to all stakeholders.

Bereavement information packs

The loss of a loved one can be such a traumatic experience – and a disorientating one too.

And that’s why providing people with simple, clear messages of support and also making them aware of the services available becomes really important.

Our work with the NHS

We’ve supplied personalised seed packets for the Platinum Jubilee, as a thank you for hospital charities and to staff for their hard work.

The NHS has also used our seed packets to help celebrate its 75th anniversary, commemorate the opening of a new department and to promote healthy eating.

We’ve also provided the NHS with our plantable seed paper to promote rewards to staff for saving energy, recycling and for taking part in well-being activities.

NHS promotional products

Our seed paper has also been used to promote career development and learning among NHS staff, helping to maximise staff potential and continual improvement.

While our seed booklets have been used to communicate to staff the discounts they’re entitled to from major brands and for all kinds of employee-only competitions.
